Hole Retaining Ring

Hole retaining rings, or internal circlips, are designed to fit into a groove inside a housing or bore. Their purpose is precise internal positioning, using quick elastic snap-fit to prevent axial movement. Made to ISO 893 standards, these rings are formed from spring steel into an open ring with lugs or holes for plier engagement. You compress the ring to insert it into the bore, and it snaps outward into the groove, locking firmly in place. This creates a positive stop for components like bearings or bushings inside a housing. Products offer a simple, tool-based solution for secure internal retention.

Hole retaining rings are commonly used in machinery bores, automotive transmission housings, electric motor end caps, appliance housings, and medical device components with bores.
