U-bolts

U-bolts are versatile clamping fasteners with a distinctive U-shaped body and threaded legs. Their design principle is wrap-around conformity combined with bidirectional, uniform tightening and compatibility with curved components. Manufactured in accordance with GB/T 5782–related standards, the U-shaped bend is formed in a single cold-bending operation, ensuring precise and distortion-free curvature. Both legs feature symmetrically machined threads with 6g precision, allowing for even, bidirectional clamping when used with nuts. This enables the U-bolt to conform tightly to the surfaces of pipes, tubes, and other curved profiles while distributing clamping force evenly. Once installed, product offer excellent resistance to vibration and displacement, making them the preferred fastener for wrap-around clamping applications.

U-bolts are extensively used in pipeline installation, building support systems, automotive chassis assemblies, marine equipment, and solar photovoltaic mounting systems. In plumbing and HVAC applications, they securely fasten water, gas, and air-conditioning pipes without causing damage, ensuring long-term stability. These bolts are manufactured from carbon steel (Q235, 20#) or stainless steel 304/316. Carbon steel versions undergo cleaning and zinc plating (ASTM B633) or color zinc treatment, providing 48–72 hours of salt spray corrosion resistance. Stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance and weather resistance for outdoor, damp, or chemically aggressive environments. The bent section is specially reinforced to prevent cracking and stress concentration, and shear strength meets GB/T 5782 requirements.
